Kenny and Sarah's Wedding

We had a great time at the wedding this weekend. The ceremony was beautiful and was great to spend some quality time with so many great friends. Plus we got to dress up which was a lot of fun-Oliver looked GREAT in a tux; clearly outshining even the groom!

The Turnpike Streaker!

We drove up to Newport, RI for Kenny and Sarah's wedding today. It was a great drive-filled with wonderful conversation. On our way there, Oliver had a bit of a blowout and so now he has shown half of New Jersey his birthday suit. Way to go little buddy!

Hangin' With the Boyz....

This morning we were all up very early. Something about getting old (or very young), you wake up long before you used to. So here's Mike, Uncle John and Oliver, hanging on the couch at 6:55 in the morning, coffee in hand. Cheers boys!

Auntie Bobo!

Today we got to visit with Auntie Bobo. We went to the Art Museum and had a fun time walking around and eating cookies.

My favorite Mei Tai!

Here's the newest addition to the slings that we use to carry Oliver. This one is incredibly easy to use-and so comfortable when carrying a 16 pound baby. I had it on all day yesterday and never got tired or sore! The hood is for the Darth Vader look.

What a day!

Today Oliver woke up at 5:30, really excited that he could talk to mom and dad (we heard lots of "buh-buh-buh"). Mike decided it would be a good idea to take Oliver and Peekay for a run and let me sleep! It was fabulous. Once they got back, Oliver slept for a bit longer with me, and then we went for a run. When we got back we decided to take a walk with his grammy and grampy-a walk that took most of the day and was lots of fun; it included cheese steaks and water ice, so we tasted the culinary genius of Philly.

By last night, our little guy was tuckered out. But not too tired to play for a while on the floor!

Outdoor Bath Time!

Today the weather was fabulous and since Oliver managed to cover himself in poop, we decided to do an outdoor bath. It was great! He definitely enjoyed lying out in the sun for a few minutes and getting some fresh air. We may have to do this again soon.

Our First Post

Wow-It's hard to believe that Oliver is now five and a half months old. He has grown and changed so much, it's a shame we didn't start this blog sooner!

At this point he's able to sit up on his own for a while and usually only falls when he gets distracted by something else-like the ceiling fan. He loves playing with his toys-and Raggedy Andy is still one of his favorites. He's rolling from his back to his belly and belly to back a lot, and now that he can roll, he doesn't mind being placed on his tummy so much.

We spent the weekend outside enjoying the first nice weekend of spring. Yesterday we took a hike in Fairmount Park (the Valley Green section) and Oliver loved being outside in the woods. He giggled at the trees, stared at the river and had a grand time. When we got home he was completely pooped and napped for a few hours.

Play Time

We spent the morning playing on our bed. Oliver really enjoyed talking with his friend, the giraffe and playing with my scarf.
