Hiking

Mike, Oliver, Peekay and I took a hike in the Wissahickon today. It was fabulous! Afterwards we went into the old city and ate lots of great food near Independence Hall. Oliver loved the history...oh wait, he fell asleep.

Yesterday Oliver spent a lot of time in the kiddie pool-hanging with his buddies Jack and Linden. It looked like a lot of fun.

We're in Trouble!

This morning while I was picking up our living room, Oliver decided to show me just how good he's gotten at crawling to things (the couch) and pulling himself up. Yikes.

Oliver is really loving our new deep kitchen sink. He especially enjoys the "waterfall".

Oliver got a new froggy towel the other day from his Grammy. He looks pretty darned cute wearing it!

Gardening...

Oliver and I spent about an hour in the garden this morning. It's a beautiful day here-finally not too hot! I can't wait until Oliver can start weeding...that's why we have kids, right?

The big adventure!

On Saturday night, the boys (Mike and Oliver, Jason and Jack, and John and Linden) went for a big adventure. They were trying to get whipped cream for dessert, but after a huge storm rolled through (including thunder and lightning and a bit of rain) we had to go without. Dessert was still yummy though.
