Picnic By the Lake

The boys had a great time at the picnic-eating carrots and playing with each other.

Toronto

Oliver had lots of fun in Toronto...mostly playing with the hotels "toys" such as the toilet.

The USS Albacore

On Saturday we went to the USS Albacore in Portsmouth. It was fun to walk around and remember why we left the Navy---not enough gold fish in the world to make a small space palatable.

Next comes Everest

Our stairs here in Philly are insanely steep and wooden, so Oliver hasn't had much opportunity to try ascending the stairs. As soon as he saw the nice carpeted ones in Wolfeboro, he climbed straight to the top.


We couldn't keep him away from them the entire trip!

Good times with Jason and Jebby

Oliver had a GREAT time hanging out with his uncles, Jebby and Jason.

My Stomach

I'm starting to feel a bit guilty that my love of food keeps sending Mike out in the worst weather....well, only a bit.

Hanging with Jack

Oliver and Jack spent the afternoon hanging out. I think they had a good time, and may even be making plans we are unaware of....

The Playground

After the parade we took the boys to the playground for their first rides in the swing and down the slide.

Independence Day!

We took Oliver and Jack to their first 4th of July parade. It was great-they got free t-shirts, but we missed out on the hot dogs. Maybe next year.

Napping Together

This morning Oliver and Peekay decided it would be great to take a nap together-nothing like a boy and his dog.
